Description

A field of dry grass and pale wildflowers, with a weathered barn on the rise behind it. The upper part of the picture is open sky, and that is where your words go.

Three ways to use it. Choose a verse from the King James Version. Put your family name on it with the year you were established. Or write a line of your own: a motto, a favourite quote, a date that matters. The composition builds on this page as you type, and the preview is the proof. What you see there is what we print.

Landscape format from 17 × 12 to 71 × 47 inches, as a gallery wrap or in one of nine floating frames: Black, White, White Oak, Antique Gold, Yellow Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Dark Walnut, or Pink. Printed with archival pigment inks on cotton-poly canvas and stretched over a solid pine frame, ready to hang.

Made for one household in 1–3 business days. Free shipping across the US and Canada. Personalized pieces are final sale.

The Craft

Cotton-polyester canvas

Semi-matte cotton-poly blend at 400 gsm. Slight give in the surface — the texture you'd expect from a real canvas, not photo paper.

Archival pigment inks

Light-fast for decades when displayed indoors, out of direct sunlight. Calibrated colour reproduction, true to the original.

20 mm solid pine frame

Kiln-dried pine stretcher bars, deep enough for a clean gallery-wrap edge. The canvas wraps around all four sides, no staples on the front.

Recessed hanging channel

The back of the stretcher has a channel cut along its perimeter. One or two screws partway into the wall, slot the canvas on. No wire, no hooks.

How to Hang

01

Mark eye level

Centre of the canvas at 57–60 inches from the floor — the gallery standard. Above furniture, leave 6–12 inches between the top of the piece and the bottom of the canvas.

02

Pick your screws

Match to your wall: drywall anchors for plasterboard, masonry screws for brick or concrete. One screw is enough for portrait pieces; use two side by side for landscape.

03

Drive them partway in

Leave the heads protruding by about 5 mm. The recessed channel on the back of the stretcher will catch the heads — that's the entire hanging system.

04

Slot the canvas on

Lower the canvas until the channel catches both screws. Slide left or right to centre. No wire, no picture hooks, no measuring twice.

Questions

What exactly gets printed?

Exactly what you see in the preview: the same lettering, the same placement, the same background. The preview and the print file are made by the same engine, so there is no second version to approve.

Can I write my own words instead of a verse?

Yes. The verses are a starting point. Clear the fields and type a family name, a date, a motto, or a quote of your own — up to 150 characters for the opening line and 50 for the main line.

What if I spot a typo after ordering?

Email info@luxecanvasart.com with your order number within 12 hours of placing the order and we correct the wording before it goes to print. After that the piece is already in production.

How long until it arrives?

Production takes 1–3 business days. Transit adds 2–7. Total approximately 3–10 business days door to door.

Where do you ship?

Across the United States and Canada. Free on every order — UPS for standard sizes, DHL for large pieces, both with tracking and insurance.

Can I return it?

Personalized pieces are made for one household and are final sale. If the canvas arrives damaged or differs from your preview, email us within 21 days of delivery with photos and we replace it at no cost.

Does it come ready to hang?

Yes. The recessed channel cut on the back of the stretcher catches your screws directly — no wire, no picture hooks. You'll need one or two wall screws of your own (chosen for your wall type).
