Description

A massive moon dominates the night sky above snow-capped mountains, a dense pine forest, and a winding river. Pink and purple nebulae spread across the upper field, giving the scene a surreal, otherworldly quality that sits apart from standard landscape art.

The semi-matte finish reduces glare, making it a practical choice for bedrooms, living rooms with ambient lighting, or cabin walls where you want strong visual impact without harsh reflections. The deep color tones hold well at large sizes.

Available in 13 landscape sizes, from 17x12 inches up to 94x63 inches. Every canvas ships stretched on a solid pine frame, arrives ready to hang via a recessed channel on the back. One or two wall screws required depending on size. Wall hardware is not included.

The default option is Gallery Wrap, image wrapping cleanly around the edges. Nine floater frame finishes are available as an add-on: Black, White, Silver, Yellow Gold, Antique Gold, Rose Gold, Pink, Dark Walnut, and White Oak.

The Craft

Cotton-polyester canvas

Semi-matte cotton-poly blend at 400 gsm. Slight give in the surface — the texture you'd expect from a real canvas, not photo paper.

Archival pigment inks

Light-fast for decades when displayed indoors, out of direct sunlight. Calibrated colour reproduction, true to the original.

20 mm solid pine frame

Kiln-dried pine stretcher bars, deep enough for a clean gallery-wrap edge. The canvas wraps around all four sides, no staples on the front.

Recessed hanging channel

The back of the stretcher has a channel cut along its perimeter. One or two screws partway into the wall, slot the canvas on. No wire, no hooks.

How to Hang

Mark eye level

Centre of the canvas at 57–60 inches from the floor — the gallery standard. Above furniture, leave 6–12 inches between the top of the piece and the bottom of the canvas.

Pick your screws

Match to your wall: drywall anchors for plasterboard, masonry screws for brick or concrete. One screw is enough for portrait pieces; use two side by side for landscape.

Drive them partway in

Leave the heads protruding by about 5 mm. The recessed channel on the back of the stretcher will catch the heads — that's the entire hanging system.

Slot the canvas on

Lower the canvas until the channel catches both screws. Slide left or right to centre. No wire, no picture hooks, no measuring twice.

Where do you ship?

Across the United States and Canada. Free on every order — UPS for standard sizes, DHL for large pieces, both with tracking and insurance.

How long until it arrives?

Production takes 1–3 business days. Transit adds 2–7. Total approximately 3–10 business days door to door.

Do US customers pay duties?

No extra fees for US customers. Our canvas prints qualify under the CUSMA agreement, so no customs or duties apply.

Does it come ready to hang?

Yes. The recessed channel cut on the back of the stretcher catches your screws directly — no wire, no picture hooks. You'll need one or two wall screws of your own (chosen for your wall type).

Can I return it?

Yes — within 21 days of delivery. Items in original condition; original packaging where possible. We cover return shipping for damaged or wrong-item cases. Custom sizes are final sale.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes. Custom orders add about 2 days to production and follow the same minimum/maximum range as our standard sizes. Email info@luxecanvasart.com with your dimensions.
